Why do we consult?

Because technology can transform your practice. And we want to help make the transformation happen.

But, as with most things, it’s probably not that simple.

Before technology can transform, some work must be done. We learned – after creating two firms from the ground up – that transformation first requires understanding.

An understanding of how you practice, why you practice that way, and what you could/should do differently.

Only after that work is done, can you get to the work of transformation through technology.

And this is where we come in.

Here’s what we do:

We teach you how to assess. And ask the hard questions. And figure out what’s important, and what’s not, about what you do and how you do it.

We assess. After you assess and identify how you want to practice, we implement a technology assessment. You don’t necessarily need to throw the baby out with the bath water – but if you’ve called us, then clearly some things need to change.

We recommend. After all the assessing – which really isn’t so hard (much easier than, say, preparing a motion for summary judgment) – we recommend the technology(ies) that can bring harmony to your practice.

We help you implement. Some solutions are easy – you can do it yourself! Some are a bit trickier, and we can help with these. And for the really tricky stuff, we bring in the hardcore techies. In other words, we match the job with the person who is best suited to do it.

We help you tweak. Not everything flows perfectly from day one. This is the nature of life, and it is most certainly the nature of technology. So it’s quite possible some tweaking will be in order. And we’re here to make sure that all tweaking happens quickly and efficiently. 

This is, in a nutshell, OUR workflow. But we can help with many other things, too. Because folks have different needs.
